The big screen adaptation of Kay's bestselling novel Red Headed Woman was released 83 years ago today, on June 25, 1932.

  1. Glad to see a new post! I think it's interesting how the original text and screenplay differ. In many ways the screenplay is more radical, but it seems the overall message is much more conservative. I also think it's cute that Anita Loos adapted the screenplay and made the opening line “so gentlemen prefer blondes, do they?” :)
